Q. Is there a naming standard for Experimental Plan Codes?

A. Yes.

Most of the codes have a length of eight characters.

The first two characters represent the Number of Samples (T) with a leading zero if necessary.

The next two characters represent the Number Presented (K) with a leading zero if necessary.

The last four characters represent the Number of Blocks (B) with leading zeroes if necessary.

So 03030006 PERMUTATIONS (3 CHOOSE 3) represents a plan with 3 samples, 3 samples presented to each panelist, and 6 blocks or sets of samples.
