A. You may want to save a graph as an image file so you can insert it into a document or attach it to an e-mail. After the graph is ready, follow these steps:

  1. Click Save As.. button, near the Exit button toward the bottom of the graph form.
  2. There are two options for Save as type, .BMP and .JPG.
Images in JPG format use a reduced number of bytes, and are more popular to send as e-mail attachments than BMP files because it is faster to send them. Graphs in JPG format are usually more than adequate for viewing on screen.
  3. Type in a file name and click Save.

Graphs saved in BMP or JPG format cannot be edited further in SIMS 2000. Use your external graphics program (such as Microsoft Paint) to work with these files.

See the post How do I save a graph to modify it at a later time? for instructions on how to save a graph for further editing in SIMS 2000.
