The use of Test Linking enables the test technician to administer multiple tests to each panelist without requiring the panelist to move from one panelist station to another.
Test Linking permits multiple test design such that each panelist can have samples from each of the linked tests together on the same presentation tray.
Besides the increased ease of administering multiple tests, test linking also provides opportunities to ask panelist a series of questions that cannot easily, if at all, be presented in one test.
For example, you may want to ask a series of Paired Comparison questions where each question is associated with a different pair of samples. A single paired comparison question can only be asked in a two sample test. But you can link several tests together to ask the same paired comparison question multiple times, each with a different pair of samples. |
