Call SAS toll-free at 1-800-727-0025 (US and Canada). Note about calling SAS: The SAS people will generally try to sell you additional products that you do not need for SIMS 2000. You only need to buy Base SAS®, SAS/STAT®. You only need the SAS "Desktop" version of the SAS software.

Confusion about the SAS "Server" version. You do not need SAS "Server".
• 99.9% of our SIMS 2000 clients use SAS "Desktop".
• "Server" is NOT the same as multiple licenses of the "Desktop" version of SAS. For two or more copies of the SAS software, buy multiple licenses of SAS "Desktop".
• "Server" is ONLY deployed in a virtual server environment on the server; Citrix, Terminal Server, VMWare, etc; the license cost is often determined by the number of physical processors in your server.
• SAS sales people frequently confuse and mislead people on this topic, a "Server" sell for them is much more money.
• If you are still thinking about purchasing SAS "Server" be sure that you understand what it really is.
